The Chatsworth Football Association, in partnership with Laboratory Supplies, hosted a successful Junior KO Cup Tournament at the Road 515 Grounds on Saturday, 9 May. The event drew hundreds of supporters and more than 700 young footballers from Chatsworth and surrounding areas.

The tournament featured Under 7, Under 9 and Under 11 divisions, with more than 80 matches played throughout the day. The biggest winners were Bluff Rangers FC, who completed a remarkable clean sweep by winning all three winners section finals in the U7, U9 and U11 categories.

Hosted at the packed Road 515 Grounds, the event transformed the venue into a colourful community festival as families, coaches and supporters gathered under gazebos to cheer on the young players. The atmosphere was energised by entertainment from popular DJs.

Sponsor Jesse Nagiah invested more than R65,000 into the tournament, ensuring every participating child received lunch hampers and commemorative medals. Winners were rewarded with soccer jerseys, while runners-up received soccer equipment to support their clubs’ continued growth.
