Kiru Naidoo

A South African human rights and climate justice activist. Born in Durban, he became involved in anti-apartheid activism as a teenager and later went into exile in the United Kingdom, earning a doctorate from the University of Oxford. Naidoo has led major global organisations, including Greenpeace International, Amnesty International, and CIVICUS. He is known for connecting climate action with social and economic justice. He has authored several books, including 'Letters to My Mother: The Making of a Troublemaker' and 'Made in Chatsworth'.
