With the vigour of youth and being equipped with expertise in the field, at the age of 21, Daniel Canhenga, founded his company, CodingHub, with a desire to help grow and allow small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to thrive in the country.
Canhenga said that his business is about offering a trusted partnership that guides businesses through every step of the digital journey.

Before he started his busisness, he said he had worked in various IT roles, honing his skills in software development, IT systems management, and infrastructure.
“I worked with large companies, gained invaluable experience, and noticed a gap in the market: small businesses needed affordable and reliable IT solutions. That’s when I decided to take the leap and start CodingHub, to help SMEs thrive in an increasingly digital world,” Canhenga said.
“In the beginning, it was not easy. I had to tap into my savings, take calculated risks, and work on building relationships with clients who would believe in what we were doing. With time, we reinvested our earnings into the business, and that helped us grow. We have come a long way since then, and the journey has been incredibly rewarding,” he said.
“I remember feeling overwhelmed by the fear of failure when starting CodingHub, the challenge of getting clients to trust us, and, of course, the struggle to secure the initial funding we needed. But we never gave up,” Canhenga further said.
The business owner told Business Report while growing up he was always fascinated by technology.
He added that today, the same curiosity fuels his work ethic.
“We understand that small businesses need to have a strong online presence, so we offer website development and payment integration services. The pricing is tailored to the specifics of each project, starting from around for a basic website setup. We aim to make technology accessible to all businesses, no matter their size or budget,” he said.
Canhenga believes that the SME sector is a vital part of the country’s economy, which is why his business is aimed towards helping small businesses.
“I chose to focus on small businesses because they are the heartbeat of our economy. Small businesses often don’t have the resources to manage complex IT systems, yet they need technology to remain competitive. I wanted to create a company that could provide these businesses with the tools, support, and solutions they need to succeed. Watching them grow and thrive with the help of our services is incredibly rewarding,” he further said.
