Criminals prey on women doing chores

Criminals are now preying on women hanging their clothes on the washing line, working in the garden or praying outside.

A retired caregiver for special needs children, was removing her washing from the line at her Brindhaven, Verulam home, when she was accosted by a suspect, on Sunday afternoon.

“He threw me onto my couch and continued to keep his hand over my mouth. Another robber then entered the house. He was bigger in size and he looked fierce. He grabbed a knife from the kitchen and pointed it at me.”
