GIVEN the ever-increasing challenges, open and constructive dialogue is paramount for progress and harmony in our nation. The South African Hindu Maha Sabha will host a thought-provoking webinar on July 19 at 2pm to engage in the national dialogue to reflect, contribute, and shape a united, inclusive, and just South Africa.

Also to address real-life challenges and dilemmas has been an essential feature of Hinduism since its inception, and scriptures often feature this method for conveying spiritual principles for righteous living. The most prominent example would be the dialogue between Lord Krishna and Arjuna in the Bhagavad Gita.

Prominent speakers at the webinar include Swami Vedanand Saraswati, Ela Gandhi, Eric Appelgren and Siva Naidoo. Some discussion points include exploring Hindu values in national development; promoting social cohesion and unity in diversity; addressing challenges facing women and the youth; and social justice, ethics and governance.

It will provide a platform for insightful discussions, diverse perspectives to contribute to meaningful dialogue and positive change, and a deeper understanding of the path forward. This is an opportunity for the community to voice its values, concerns, and aspirations in our nation's evolving journey.

The webinar will be hosted live on the SAHMS Facebook page with the username @SaHinduMahaSabha.
