MARK your calendars for a frightfully fun evening at the Made in Chatsworth Market’s annual Trick or Treat Halloween Dance Party on Saturday at 6pm at Depot Road Memorial Primary School in Chatsworth.

The community event promises a night of thrills, chills, and family-friendly entertainment.

For the past four years, the Made in Chatsworth Market has been a hub of the community, offering a safe space where families can come together to connect, celebrate, and create lasting memories according to its founder Kiru Naidoo.

This year’s Halloween Dance Party is set to be the market’s most exciting event yet, combining spooky fun with the market’s signature welcoming atmosphere.

"The evening will be packed with activities for all ages. Dust off your best costumes whether you’re a wicked witch, a friendly ghost, or a superhero with a spooky twist and join the dance floor for a night of ghoulish grooves," added event organiser Zakeera Hoosen.

The event is free, ensuring everyone in the community can join in the fun without breaking the bank. In addition to dancing under the stars, attendees can look forward to a spooky movie screening on the big screen, perfect for getting into the Halloween mood.

From eerie classics to family-friendly frights, the movie selection will keep everyone entertained. And, of course, no Halloween celebration would be complete without trick-or-treating. Kids and families can roam the market, collecting sweet treats and enjoying the festive vibe.

The Made in Chatsworth Market has built a reputation as a safe and inclusive space for families over the past four years. The Trick or Treat Halloween Dance Party continues this tradition, offering a secure environment where parents can relax and kids can let loose.

With a variety of activities and a welcoming community spirit, it’s the perfect way to celebrate Halloween with neighbours and friends.
