R&B icons Brandy Norwood and Monica Arnold have officially announced their upcoming tour after a recent Ticketmaster slip-up that had fans buzzing.
It all started with an “oops” moment when Ticketmaster prematurely revealed tickets, which suggested that the two stars would tour from November 13, 2025.
A screenshot of Ticketmaster revealing “The Boy Is Mine Tour” circulated on X, showcasing ticket sales for a tour with Norwood and Arnold, featuring Grammy winners Kelly Rowland and Muni Long as special guests.
Well, now fans can rest assured as the tour has formally been announced by two of R&B’s greatest acts.
The duo both took to their social media platforms to inform their fans about their co-headlining tour, “The Boy Is Mine,” posting a dramatic two-minute film showcasing them as they break free from an asylum using their powerful vocals.
The “The Boy Is Mine” tour takes its name from the duo’s legendary 1998 single, which held the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for 13 consecutive weeks. The 24-city arena tour is set to take off on Thursday, October 16, and will run through December 7. Tickets go on sale Friday, June 27.
“This really is a full-circle moment. Monica and I coming together again isn’t just about the music - it’s about honouring where we came from and how far we’ve both come,” Brandy said in a statement.
“‘The Boy Is Mine’ was a defining chapter in R&B, and to share the stage all these years later is bigger than a reunion - it’s a celebration of growth, sisterhood, and the love our fans have given us from day one,” said Norwood.
Arnold added, “The love that ‘The Boy Is Mine’ continues to receive means everything to me. This tour is a celebration of our history, our impact, and the fans who have grown with us.
“Brandy and I have been on our own unique journeys, and coming back together in this way is a reminder of the power of respect, strength, and real music. We’re giving the people what they’ve been asking for, and doing it with grace, love, and purpose. God’s timing perfectly aligned us.”
The Grammy award-winning artists have both remained active in their own careers after working together on their 1998 hit.
In 2012, they collaborated on “It All Belongs to Me” and reunited again in 2024 for Ariana Grande’s “The Boy Is Mine (Remix)”, which scored them a Grammy nomination for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
Fans are equally excited by the news, flooding social media with comments.
