On the recent episode of Showmax’s “United”, former Finance Minister Malusi Gigaba’s ex-wife, Norma Mngoma, opened up about the reportedly shocking events that took place in their marriage.

From Gigaba’s alleged obsession with pornography, the alleged cheating, the alleged use of baby oil, and Mngoma’s comparison of Gigaba to US music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, she bared it all.

The 50-year-old businesswoman shared: “Whenever you leave, you leave with baby oils. You are like Puff Diddy now. Why would you pack like that? It means whenever you leave home, you are prepared for those things.”

During his infamous trial, it was revealed that Combs had an obsession with baby oil, which he allegedly forced his girlfriends or mistresses to partake in during his freak-offs.

Mngoma also opened up to host Relebogile Mabotja about how various women who were involved with Gigaba would allegedly call her to reveal the alleged affairs he had with them.

From text screenshots to direct messages, she said that they would show her proof that he was indeed cheating on her with them.

The mother of two detailed how the marriage was troubled from its inception, with different women allegedly calling her with threats to halt their wedding.

Mngoma also claimed that Gigaba used to store nudes from other women, which he kept on his iPad. She also claimed that her ex-husband used to watch porn while working, alleging that “he was used to it.”

“I knew one day this obsession of him and the nudes. So he will use those pictures, he will put them there in his iPad, then he will open porn while he is sitting there doing his work,” she said.

Mngoma and Gigaba were married from 2014 until 2020, and their extravagant wedding cost over R5 million.

Before they tied the knot, Gigaba was still legally married to another woman. According to Mngoma, Gigaba had a daughter in his previous relationship and wanted a son, which led to them having two sons.

Mngoma’s “United” tell-all episode officially aired on Showmax on Tuesday, July 15. This comes after Gigaba obtained a temporary court order to prevent the interview from airing, which led to it being temporarily blocked until more documents could be submitted.

However, Gigaba’s attempts to stop the episode from going live were unsuccessful, as the court dismissed his request.

“Untied” is a talk show that explores the complex and deeply personal details of divorce, shedding light on the deeper emotions and challenges that come with it.

Through intimate conversations with renowned South African women who have navigated the often-turbulent challenges of separation, Mabotja helps offer a unique perspective on the highs and lows of love, heartbreak and personal growth.

Mngoma’s interview took a deep dive into the chaotic side of her marriage to Gigaba, discussing sensitive topics like infidelity allegations, alleged struggles with pornography addiction, and the alleged misuse of public funds, which are of significant public interest.

It further revealed her dedication to personal growth and resilience for both herself and her children, following the challenges she faced within her marriage to Gigaba.
