Jojo Robinson has finally broken her silence on the recent fallout with her former best friend, Nonku Williams, in a heartfelt Instagram post.

The two "Real Housewives of Durban" stars, affectionately known as “Joku”, had been inseparable on and off the show for five seasons before unfollowing each other on Instagram in June.

The latest season of "RHOD" has been a dramatic and intense ride, with the ladies pulling out all the stops to keep viewers on the edge of their seats.

However, in the midst of it all, friendships and boundaries were broken, and the implosion of the “Joku” friendship was one for the books and had their fans heartbroken over the split.

Williams, who will not be returning to the show and did not attend the recent reunion, opened up about their strained relationship, citing divergence and different paths.

“As I’ve deepened my faith, our paths have diverged. Jojo struggled to understand my spiritual growth and my call to share my faith with others.

“I believe it's my duty to spread the word about Christ, and I couldn't compromise on that. Unfortunately, our differences led to misunderstandings and blame being placed on others,” she told "News24".

Robinson took to her Instagram on Wednesday and wrote an emotional post.

She acknowledged the realness of their friendship and expressed regret over the issues that led to their estrangement.

“Seeing comments on social media saying this friendship didn’t matter, it was for work, is really hard to see. It was very real and it was filled with love and sisterhood,” she wrote.

Robinson wished Williams peace and love, reminiscing on the good moments they shared together while also acknowledging their differences.

“I hope you find peace and love with whoever you choose in this life. I loved every second we spent together, and I’m forever grateful for the friendship we shared and the fact that you were a big part of my journey in this life.

"I understand that you are going in a different direction, and I hope one day we get to talk again in person,” she wrote.

Additionally, she also expressed that while they have always had each other as friends, it is time for them to take different paths and have their own journeys as individuals instead of a duo.

Robinson also took the opportunity to apologise to Williams for any part she may have played in their fallout.

“I forgive you and I’m also sorry for any part I played that upset you,” she said. She also expressed her gratitude for the time they spent together, saying, “I loved every second we spent together and I’m forever grateful for the friendship we shared.”

Alongside her apology, Robinson shared a nostalgic Instagram reel filled with pictures and videos of the two friends in happier times.

In closing, Robinson thanked the fans who supported and believed in them through their journey as friends.

Over the five years, the pair’s friendship had often faced scrutiny as they were accused of not being genuine with each other and the authenticity of their bond.
