Ntando Rambani has opened up about her love story with husband Unarine Rambani, professionally known as Una Rams, sharing details about how they met, their relationship and why they have chosen to keep things under wraps.

Speaking on "The L-Tido Podcast", Ntando revealed that she and Una first crossed paths two years ago in Venda on September 16, during a show where Una had attended with a friend.

She explained that she was meant to perform at 9pm but only went on stage at 3am due to delays, something she believes was a sign of timing working in her favour. “God’s timing is the right timing,” she said.

When she eventually got on stage, Una approached her and her sister, whom he already knew from X (formerly Twitter).

Ntando described Una as “a very calculated man with calculative moves”, saying she admired his humility and aura, even though she did not know him personally at the time.

Later that night, while waiting for transport with her sister Thando Duma, Una returned with his brother and asked for a photo with them. Ntando revealed that she later found out this was part of his strategy.

He tagged her in the photo, which led to her following him back. Soon after, he sent her a direct message saying, “I wasn’t lying about taking you out for a date when you’re back in Jo’burg. If you’re keen, let's do it.”

Ntando admitted she did not respond for two days because she forgot and had grown tired of men and relationships. Still, that exchange marked the start of what would become their marriage and family.

According to Ntando, Una knew two months into the relationship that he was going to marry her. He sent a lobola letter to her family six months after they started dating, and the couple eventually tied the knot in 2024.

Their wedding was kept private until they revealed it on the cover of "Previdar Weddings" magazine.

By August 2025, the Rambanis had more news to share. They appeared on the cover of "Batswadi" aagazine with Ntando’s first daughter, Sbahle Mzizi, whom she shares with musician Junior De Rocker and their newborn baby girl.

In the interview, Ntando spoke about how she realised she was pregnant after experiencing nausea and cravings, while Una recalled feeling nervous balancing wedding preparations with the news that they were expecting a child.

The couple explained that their choice to keep both their wedding and pregnancy private was deliberate.

“We realised that as public figures, there’s so little of our private life that we get to enjoy just for ourselves. So these are the little things that we’ve chosen to keep sacred – the baby, the marriage and probably many more things to come,” they said.

Keeping the pregnancy hidden sparked speculation, with some fans suggesting that Ntando had used a surrogate. One TikTok user even commented that she had a surrogate, which Ntando addressed on the podcast.

“Because you didn’t see me pregnant then it’s not my child? Like, what do you mean?” she said.

She added that this was one of the reasons why they kept everything discreet. “We have little to ourselves so it’s really important for us to know what is ours and what not to put out there. We really just wanted this moment to ourselves,” said the newlywed.
