Beyoncé has officially added “Emmy winner” to her long list of titles. The global superstar took home her very first Emmy on September 14, 2025, winning Outstanding Costumes for Variety, Nonfiction, or Reality Programming for her Netflix special "Beyoncé Bowl", which was a dazzling production of her NFL Christmas Day 2024 halftime show.
The victory inches her closer to the coveted EGOT status, leaving only an Oscar between her and one of entertainment’s most elite clubs.
Despite the milestone, Queen Bey was noticeably absent from the ceremony at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles.
Known for her preference for privacy when it comes to award shows, Beyoncé has never attended the Emmys, and this year was no different.
Her husband Jay-Z, who was also nominated in the same category for producing Kendrick Lamar’s Apple Music Super Bowl LIX halftime show, skipped the evening as well.
Sources say the couple opted for a quiet night in, citing the hectic wrap of Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter world tour and the lower-profile nature of the category.
Fans didn’t have to wait long to see Beyoncé celebrate in her own way.
Over the weekend, she lit up Instagram with a mini fashion moment, posting back-to-back looks that had the BeyHive buzzing.
First, she stunned in a burgundy Dolce & Gabbana gown with corseted bodice details and dramatic ruching that accentuated her signature curves.
"Thank you so much for my birthday love. I’m thankful to God for another year. Peace and Love," she wrote in the caption.
Hours later, she switched gears with a molten copper Roberto Cavalli gown featuring a thigh-high slit and sweeping train, worn to the REFORM Alliance Casino Night & Gala.
