US rapper Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty affectionately known as Nicki Minaj has expressed her love to her Mzansi fans after her recent remix climbed the charts in SA.

The 42-year-old released a remix titled “Banned From No” on June 11 with her longtime friend and fellow rapper, Lil Wayne.

The track has received great reception because in less than a week of it being released, the track secured the number one spot on the iTunes Top Songs chart, making it the top-selling song in the US.

The Barbz in Mzansi also showed up and showed out because this remix by the two rap moguls also sits at number one on iTunes.

The hitmaker took to X to reply to a post about the remix hitting the charts in SA and expressed her love for her solid fan base in SA.

“If it’s 1 thing my South African Barbzz gon do it’s show TF out!!! Love you,” she said.

Amid all the celebrations, the SA Barbz replied to the “Queen of Rap” with one request only: a tour.

“You already know what South Africa wants,” @AyndaMthimkhulu said.

@Tcee_SA wrote: “Well there is a 100K stadium waiting for you for two nights.”

“Okay but when are you coming to see us????” @LitSego commented.

While @Yoniem5 added: “We love you so much, and the day you decide to do a stadium tour, trust and believe South African barbz would fill up FNB stadium.”

The “Barbie World” hitmaker had her first tour in SA in 2016, where her solid fanbase showed out in numbers to support their favourite female rapper.

The Pinkprint tour took place in SA’s three major cities, namely Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg.

Despite her fans demanding a tour for SA and even telling her which location to use, the multi-award winning rapper has not yet replied to any of the suggestions.

Just two months ago, the rapper was the highest-ranked rapper on the Top 100 Women Artists list, and the only rapper in the top 20, according to Billboard's rankings.

It is no doubt that the mother-of-one is a force to be reckoned with, not only in the rap industry but the music industry as a whole.
