Gregory Porter set to enchant Durban with his soulful debut performance

JAZZ lovers in Durban are in for a treat as two-time Grammy award-winning vocalist Gregory Porter is set to perform live at the Durban International Convention Centre on Saturday.

This concert marks the jazz maestro’s first appearance in the city and is part of his much-anticipated Love Is King South African tour. The tour also includes performances in Cape Town and Johannesburg.

The tour will not only showcase Porter’s talent but it will also celebrate local artistry.  In Durban, he will be joined by pianist and composer Nduduzo Makhathini and singer-songwriter Omagugu. 

Concert-goers are advised to secure their tickets promptly.

The Love Is King SA tour includes performances in: GrandWest in Cape Town today (Wednesday) and at Montecasino in Johannesburg from November 20 to 22, of which the Friday and Saturday Teatro shows are already sold out.
