DSK Group’s inaugural telethon raises funds for children’s home

TO COMBAT child abandonment and abuse in KwaZulu-Natal, the DSK Group hosted its inaugural telethon last Wednesday to raise funds to establish a home for abandoned and abused children. The event was held at the Imbizo Conference Centre within the Sibaya Casino and Entertainment World. The DSK Group, a non-profit organisation based in Phoenix, raised R805 000. POST editor Yogas Nair participated in the telethon and raised R56 000.  At the event were:
