VETERAN journalist Fakir Hassen launched his magnum opus – a set of 46 books titled Lenasia Hitting the Headlines – at the Killarney Cine Centre in Johannesburg on Sunday. The series cover historic events and achievements in the Lenasia community from 1976 to 2024 through the pages of the POST, Lenasia Times, the Rising Sun and the erstwhile, The Indicator.
