Pavilion Shopping Centre hosts free festive 'Carnival of Joy' until Christmas Eve

THE Pavilion Shopping Centre is gifting families an unforgettable festive season - with a full programme of free entertainment, activities and holiday magic from until December 24.

The free line-up - Carnival of Joy at the Main Fountain Court- includes: 

● Stage shows at 11am, 1pm, 3pm and 5pm

● A variety of carnival themed games to keep the little ones entertained for hours

● Creative Corner, including bauble-making, festive crafts and a colouring wall

● Donut decorating with Krispy Kreme

● Spend & Win booth: Simply spend R500 or more, and enter the daily draws to win prizes. 

Photos with Santa (December 11 to 24): on the cinema level, opposite Under Armour. An opportunity for families to create memories and capture special moments with Santa.

Gift-Wrapping Stations (December 12 to 24): Complimentary wrapping stations supporting St Martin’s Children’s Home.

Christmas Night Market (December 13, 3pm to 10pm): Undercover B Parking - Shoppers can step into the magic of the season at the market for the best in handcrafted gifts, festive décor, artisan treats, seasonal atmosphere. Live entertainment will set the mood with local bands gracing the stage throughout the night.

Rooftop Weekend Activations (Fridays to Sundays): includes balloon sculpting, bubble experiences and stilt walkers. 

The mall's extended hours are as follows: 

● December 12 to 23: 9am–10pm

● December 24: 9am to 7pm

● December 26 to 31: 9am to 7pm

● December 25 and January 1: Voluntary trade
