DEVOTEES and members of the community are invited to an evening of spiritual enrichment with “Muruga Saranam 2.0”, a divine musical offering celebrating Lord Muruga, scheduled for Friday, January 17. The event will begin at 5pm in Liberty Hall, located at 1356 North Coast Road, Avoca.
This special occasion coincides with the sacred observance of Thaipusam, a significant festival for many Hindus, symbolising devotion and spiritual intensity.
The highlight of the night will be a performance by Deshan Styler Naidoo, whose soulful renditions aim to uplift attendees and deepen their spiritual experience.
Charles Naidoo, of Liberty Productions, said: "Muruga Saranam 2.0 is not just a musical programme, but an offering of devotion and gratitude to Lord Muruga. Through this event, we hope to bring the community together in prayer, unity, and spiritual reflection during the sacred period of Thaipusam.”
The programme encourages participation from devotees of diverse backgrounds. Admission is free and supper will be served after the programme.
