An annual Holi Festival organised by the La Mercy and Coastal Holi Committee was held at the Radha Krishna Temple in La Mercy on Sunday.
Holi, the Festival of Colours, celebrates the eternal and divine love of the deities Radha and Krisha; and signifies the triumph of good over evil as it commemorates the victory of Vishnu as Narasimha over Hiranyakashipu.
In India, Holi welcomes the arrival of Spring and the end of winter.
