Custard Biscuits

125g butter

¼ cup icing sugar

¼ cup custard powder

2 tbs Maizena (corn flour)

1 tsp vanilla essence

about 1 to 1½ cups plain cake flour to form a soft dough

 

Method

Beat the butter and icing sugar until light and creamy. Add the custard powder and beat. Sift in the flour and form a soft dough.

Nozzle the biscuits on to a non-stick flat tray. Form rounds and flatten with a fork.

Bake at 160ºC until cooked. Leave on low heat for crisp biscuits. Once cool, dip in chocolate.
