Peri-Peri Roast Chicken

1 full chicken, sliced
1 cup yoghurt
1 tbs ginger/garlic paste
1 tbs lemon juice
1 tsp jeera powder
1 tbs peri-peri spice
1 tsp chilli powder
½ tsp lemon pepper
½ tsp garlic powder
half the marinade
1 tbs butter
1 tbs mayonnaise
1 tsp chilli oil
Wash and drain the chicken. In a bowl, mix together the yoghurt, ginger/garlic paste, lemon juice and spices. Add half the marinade to the chicken and mix well.
Place the chicken in a dish and cook in the oven at 160º to 180°C for 30 to 45 minutes.
Add all the sauce ingredients to a pot and heat on medium heat. Once the chicken is cooked, remove from the oven and pour the sauce over.
Return to the oven for 10 minutes.
Garnish, and enjoy with creamy vegetables and garlic rolls.
