Selena Gomez recently shared some surprising details about her wedding dessert plans in an interview posted by Rare Beauty.

Forget the traditional large wedding cake because Gomez has something different in mind.

"Whenever that day comes, I do know I don't want a big cake," Gomez said.

Instead, she prefers a mini cake that she and her fiancé, Benny Blanco, can freeze.

Her ultimate dessert choice, however, is a heartwarming family favourite: "My Nana's biscuits and gravy, that sounds like dessert to me."

While she’s kept most details of the reportedly Montecito-based wedding under wraps, this simple yet heartfelt choice highlights her desire for comfort and family tradition on her big day

The couple got engaged in December 2024, marking a new chapter in their relationship.

They shared photos on Instagram of a stunning engagement ring, with Gomez's caption, "forever begins now..," and Blanco's sweet comment, "hey wait… that's my wife."

Their connection evolved from a long-standing professional one.

They first worked together in 2015 on Gomez's Revival album. Blanco also contributed to her songs "I Can't Get Enough" (2019) and "Single Soon" (2023).

Their romantic relationship reportedly began in June 2023, but they kept it private for several months.

Gomez confirmed their romance publicly in December 2023, revealing they had been dating for "six months."

She expressed deep affection for Blanco, calling him "my absolute everything in my heart."

Since then, the couple has been more open about their love for one another.

Blanco has often spoken about his admiration for Gomez, even mentioning in May 2024 that he could see marriage in their future.
