Naomi Osaka isn’t just making headlines for her tennis at the US Open; she’s also winning over fans with her seriously over-the-top style.

And the stars of her look? A crew of crystal-encrusted Labubu toys that are just as iconic as her backhand.

The four-time Grand Slam champ has been stepping onto the court with these little monsters fully decked out in bling.

Each Labubu is custom-made, dripping in crystals, and even holding a teeny-tiny tennis racket.

Osaka has gone a step further by giving them names inspired by tennis legends.

Forget dangling from handbags, like most of the Labubu craze you’ll see online.

Osaka has turned them into full-blown match-day mascots.

And yes, her outfits are just as extra. Nike, her longtime sponsor, is front and centre in every look.

Against Coco Gauff on September 1, Osaka stepped out in a head-turning purple outfit with an embellished waistband and bubble skirt, matched perfectly with a silver and white crystal Labubu.

Off the court, she kept the sparkle going with crystal-studded headphones.

The Labubu journey started on her first match when she walked onto the court against Greet Minnen in a bedazzled red Nike look, complete with gem-covered roses in her hair and custom Nike sneakers.

Her first sparkly sidekick was “Billie Jean Bling,” a cheeky nod to tennis legend Billie Jean King.

Two days later came “Arthur Flash,” inspired by Arthur Ashe, and then “LaBillieBoo,” another tribute to King, this one wearing tiny crystal glasses.

Tennis may be the main event, but Osaka has made it clear that her Labubus are part of the show.

With every match, she’s proving that she’s not just back in the game, but back in full, glittery force as well.
