ITHUBA, the Operator of the National Lottery, has announced a life-altering win - R19 million - for a lucky participant of the PowerBall PLUS draw 1676, held on Friday, December 12.
The player, who purchased their ticket at Shoprite Checkers in Roodepoort, Johannesburg, using the manual selection method, struck gold with a modest wager of just R15.
Participants who purchased tickets in the Roodepoort area are encouraged to check their tickets. The draw also produced multiple winners across the lower divisions, including four participants who each won R50.872.20.
Commenting on the win, Ithuba CEO Charmaine Mabuza said: “We extend our warm congratulations to the winner.
