ASHAY strengthens his position in Big Brother Mzansi by winning the Chillers Punch Challenge and R5 000 with his 'Pele-Pele' flavoured can design.
While he is safe, six other housemates face possible eviction as voting opens for the week.
The creative challenge required housemates to design Chillers Punch cans that reflected their personalities, values and individual style.
After an energetic and competitive round, Ashay, Buhle B and Dene Jones emerged as the top three contestants. Ashay claimed first place, walking away with R5 000.
Staying true to his “spicy” brand, Ashay designed a limited-edition ‘Pele-Pele’ (chili) flavoured can.
The design cleverly aligned with the Chillers Punch slogan, which traditionally reads “Hee Ndaaa”, a celebrity shout-out.
Ashay reimagined the tagline as “Hee Ndiya”, loosely translated into the Indian in vernacular, adding a personal and cultural twist to the brand.
He described the can as a limited edition, drawing a parallel between the product and his own journey in the house as the only Indian contestant this season.
Big Brother praised the winning entry, and said Ashay’s design was “thoughtfully executed” and demonstrated a strong connection to his personal brand.
The win comes as Big Brother Mzansi announced that voting sas now open, with six housemates nominated for possible eviction this coming Sunday.
Ashay was not among them, giving his supporters another reason to celebrate.
Viewers have been encouraged to vote to keep their favourite housemates in the competition as the season continues to heat up.
