Ashay Sewlall, the charismatic reality TV personality from Richards Bay, is fast-tracking his career following his stint on Big Brother Mzansi Season 6, securing a major endorsement deal that signals his rising influence.

Popularly known as “Paprika,” the 24-year-old has been officially unveiled as the brand ambassador for GAC Motor Zululand.

To mark the partnership, Sewlall was handed the keys to a sleek GAC Emzoom R-Style, symbolising a significant milestone in his growing public journey.

Sewlall said on his TikTok channel that he was grateful for this opportunity.

“Thank you Quality Cars Empangeni – GAC Zululand for believing in me. Excited for what’s ahead,” the post said.

Sewlall first captured national attention as one of 20 contestants who entered the Big Brother Mzansi house when the season premiered on January 11.

As the first Indian participant in the show’s history, he quickly became a standout figure, earning praise for his confidence, vibrant personality and natural charm.

A TikTok content creator and former professional football player, Sewlall built a strong fan base during his time on the show. His ability to speak multiple languages, particularly isiZulu, made him relatable to a wide audience, while his energetic dance moves and engaging presence further boosted his popularity.

Although his eviction on March 15 came as a surprise—especially after being considered one of the season’s dominant players—his momentum has not slowed.

The ambassadorship reflects Sewlall’s growing brand appeal and connection with fans.
