Mellissa Mallaya-Pandya is one half of Mystic Sisters UK, the tarot, astrology, palm reading and intuitive life coaching brand that has built a devoted following across the United Kingdom, South Africa and far beyond.
Born in Durban, Mellissa’s fascination with the mystical began in childhood. Her grandfather had the ability to read palms, and her father recognised early that she had inherited that gift.
It was never a question of if - only when.
Jayshree Mallaya, and by 1997 they had opened their offices on the iconic Florida Road in Durban. What began as a bold leap of faith between two sisters became a household name over three decades.
In 2001, the sisters hosted a radio show on East Coast Radio and Lotus FM, and became regular guests across radio, television and in magazines including Cosmopolitan, Fair Lady and True Love. Mellissa also contributed a column to the Sunday Tribune for three years, wrote for SA India for three years, and her work appeared in publications including the POST, Saltwater Girl Magazine, CHIC Magazine and Eastern Express.
She is the co-author of the bestselling book Palm Reading & Positive Thinking, written alongside her sister Jayshree, and has been the recipient of multiple empowerment and business awards, including a finalist nomination for a business award in the United Kingdom.
Internationally recognised as an accurate and empathic tarot reader, palm reader and intuitive life coach, Mellissa’s client list spans, in her own words, from Hollywood to Bollywood and from Outer Mongolia to Timbuktu. What unites them all is the same need - clarity, direction, and someone who will tell them the truth with warmth.
Now based in the United Kingdom, Mellissa continues to grow Mystic Sisters UK, reaching thousands of women daily through her tarot readings, weekly horoscopes and intuitive coaching content across Facebook and Instagram. She is also a successful Facebook monetisation coach, having built and monetised four Facebook profiles and founded her own coaching community, Monetise Your Socials.
She is warm, wickedly funny, deeply intuitive, and completely unapologetic about who she is. Three decades in, she is still only just getting started. Mellissa followed her own intuition and moved across continents for love when she married her London born husband Paresh Pandya.
