The case against four police officers accused of helping an alleged mining kingpin escape has been postponed.
The magistrate on Wednesday granted the men's request that their faces not be shown on camera because they remain on active duty in various operations around the country.
According to the State prosecutor, Riekie Krause, investigations are now at a sensitive stage.
Warrant Officer Jack Motlhabya, Warrant Officer Menzi Shabalala, Sergeant Ntutuko Dladla and Sergeant Samkelo Mbotho were arrested following the escape of James Neo Tshoaeli or Tiger on January 20, 2025.

Tiger escaped when police rescued miners who were trapped underground at a misused mine shaft in Stilfontein.
At the time, national police spokesperson, Brigadier Athlenda Mathe, said the Lesotho national was not booked into any of the police stations where the other miners were kept.
Tiger has been implicated as the ring leader who controlled operations underground.
He remains at large.
The four police officers are expected to return to court on May 29.
