Two suspects were killed following a dramatic high-speed chase in Spine Road in Westville on Thursday morning, culminating in a violent confrontation at a petrol station opposite the Pavilion shopping centre.
Garrith Jamieson, the spokesperson for ALS Paramedics spokesperson, said paramedics arrived on the scene to find EMRS, SAPS and security officials in attendance.
"One of the suspects was fatally wounded in a gun battle during the shoot-out, while the second suspect fell to his death while trying to evade arrest.

"He attempted to escape by jumping over a wall but fell to his death," Jamieson said.
A third suspect was not injured. He is believed to have been taken into police custody.
Jamieson said police had cordoned off the area for further investigations.
At this stage the exact events leading up to this incident is unknown however SAPS were in attendance and will be investigating further.
