YUSUF ISMAIL explores the shocking revelations within the Epstein files, exposing a network of power, corruption, and child abuse among the elite. He delves into the implications of these findings and the culture of impunity that allows such heinous acts to persist.

THE Jeffrey Epstein saga is not an exception to the norm about child sex abuse among the powerful and elite. It is the norm.

The Epstein files have blown open the cult of mass paedophilia on a fantastically shocking and satanic scale. I have been randomly perusing the files online and it is just a scratch of the surface.

The US Department of Justice (DOJ) has released approximately 3.5 million pages, 180,000 images, and 2,000 videos to date. Despite this being a small percentage, this is symptomatic of where Western leadership is in a general state globally with the global crisis currently.

President Donald Trump’s name appears a whopping two million times in 5,300 files with references to Trump and related terms. Trump, Bill Clinton, Bill Gates and Ehud Barack all had close relationships with Epstein.

US representative Ted Lieu cited “highly-disturbing allegations” in these files, in portions yet to be released with claims of Trump allegedly raping children and threatening to kill children.

He referenced a witness report to the FBI’s National Threats Operations Centre about a girl, now deceased, who allegedly claimed she was raped by Trump and Epstein.

Lieu accused the DOJ of a “cover-up of epic proportions” by redacting significant portions of the files to shield Trump and his inner circle.

As journalists, researchers and content creators pore over newly-released US court documents linked to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, fresh questions are being raised about who is named, why the documents were released, and what their timing means.

Locally, emails from March 2010 indicated that Epstein’s associate, Mark Lloyd, helped arrange a dinner for then president Jacob Zuma at the Ritz Hotel in London during his official state visit to the UK.

Correspondence suggested Epstein proposed inviting a “magnificent” Russian model to ”add some real glamour to the occasion”.

The one thing inherently problematic is that global mass media continues presenting the debacle like an exception and an aberration. It is most definitely not.

It is part of a wider spectrum and continuum of grotesque sexual violence committed by corrupt and powerful white men in power as an act of policy, and we enable such a culture of impunity by assuming that those on the highest level of power would never in a general sense commit the most heinous crimes.

What if indeed, criminals and paedophiles in general aspire to be at the highest echelons of power and do indeed regularly get there?

What if “powerful people” who control the world’s financial capitals were actually criminals to begin, long before they became powerful, prior to acquiescing that level of global domination?

Or what if getting to the highest levels of government and institutional global control opens up one to having to compromise oneself, and sexually abuse and rape minor boys and girls. That indeed would create a shocking discomfort to all of us as at a fundamental level, as we take some sort of false comfort that while negligent corruption would permeate power, fundamental evil could not be masquerading as presidents and prime ministers.

The Epstein files reveal not only sexual crimes, but also a deeply tight and integrated social world order where capital, high stakes, influence and prestige circulate freely. It is not about few criminal individuals, but rather should be viewed as a normative reflection of the class order in a general sense where extreme wealth is combined with white Zionist male dominance and supremacism.

In her book La société de provocation: Essai sur l'obscénité des riches (The Society of Provocation: An Essay on the Obscenity of the Rich), author Dahlia Namian argues that this social order is anchored in a long-lasting alliance between economic and political elites, whose interests converge around the preservation of their privileges.

In the US, super-psychopathic figures like Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Larry Ellison and Mark Zuckerberg similar to the fictional equivalent of a Lex Luthor, control media that’s increasingly aligned with Trump’s agenda in exchange for exploitative economic benefits.

Take all the major media houses and studios over the past several years. They get fewer and fewer, and now you have a powerhouse like Disney controlling all of 20th Century Fox, Paramount being taken over by Ellison, and Warner Bros being taken over by Paramount Skydance.

On February 27, 2026, Paramount Skydance confirmed their deal of acquiring all of Warner Bros. Discovery for $110 billion. Imagine one major media powerhouse being taken over and then that media power house appropriating another global media and entertainment powerhouse.

Unheard of 20 years ago but normative today. By financing, acquiring or influencing media and digital platforms, the ruling elite narrows public debate and criticism. All these individuals find mention in the Epstein files.

Extreme wealth does more than entrench inequality. It allows the privileged to retreat into a zone of insulation – spaces removed from common rules and ordinary societal or legal regulation. Hence, no prosecution follows through.

No body to date has been criminally charged in the US, and the DOJ stated they redacted thousands of names to protect victims, but critics argued these redactions were “ham-fisted” and sometimes “shielded potential perpetrators” while exposing survivors.

Take the Marc Dutroux case which is one of the most important scandals in European history, primarily due to persistent allegations that he was part of a paedophile network serving the Belgian elite and monarchy in various countries in Europe.

While Dutroux was convicted as a serial killer and rapist, the investigation was doomed to fail in that many Belgians believed were a high-level cover-up.

The Epstein files reveal a mobile, international super-class, entrenched in an empire where social, fiscal and political obligations are minimal: private islands, offshore tax evasion, private cities and multiple residences, and no accountability is established

But this has been going on for decades. For example, while the allegations of child sex trafficking and rape have been levelled against former “Prince” Andrew, it is clear that royalty has not been too far off from the pattern of child abuse. The investigation by Thames Valley Police focuses on claims that Andrew shared confidential government information with Epstein while serving as a UK trade envoy (2001–2011).

However, there are absolutely no investigations on his alleged rape of Virginia Giuffre (who conveniently committed suicide) or other girls for that matter.

The late Lord Mountbatten and former British prime minister Ted Heath have had allegations over the years after their deaths of being notorious paedophiles; and Jimmy Saville (whose allegations of child sex abuse and paedophilia emerged only after he died) was an insider with the British royal family and very close to the now King Charles and the late Prince Phillip to the extent of even being used to mediate during the rocky relationship with Diana and Charles.

Child abuse and secret cult-like entities have existed since time immemorial among emperors and  kings, and never ended with modern leadership.

Take the Bohemian Grove which is a highly exclusive, private 2,700-acre forest campground deep inside Monte Rio, California. Founded in 1872, it serves as the site for an annual two-week midsummer encampment for some of the world’s most powerful mainly white men. The signature opening event where an effigy of “Care” is burned in front of a 40-foot concrete owl.

Whether this is symbolic or real, who knows as the media are banned from attending with the exception of those who control the media. A meeting for the development of the atomic bomb took place at the Grove clubhouse in 1942.

Political figures among past attendees were former US presidents Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, Herbert Hoover and George HW Bush.

A leaked 2023 membership list included names like former New York mayors Rudolph Giuliani, Michael Bloomberg, Paul Pelosi, and Eric Schmidt, and talk show host Conan O Brian.

In 2000, conspiracy theorist Alex Jones snuck into the Grove and filmed the “Cremation of Care”, later making claims of “occult sacrifice” and child sacrifice. Jones was dismissed as a nutter, but are allegations of child sacrifice and cannibalism (as obscene and fantastical as they may appear) off the mark in relation to the elitists and global power structure?

For example, a search of the Epstein files revealed 52 instances of the word “cannibal” and six instances of “cannibalism”.

Documents contained disturbing, dehumanising correspondence. In one 2013 email thread with Olivier Colum, Epstein referred to his private island as an “aquarium full of girls” and used the phrase, “no summer like shrimp you throw away the head and keep the body”.

Reports indicate that documents included references to “jerked meat” and “baby cream-cheese”.

These phrases have been speculated to be coded language for child abuse, though this is not confirmed. Many of the most extreme claims were those alleging that specific celebrities and politicians were “prolific cannibals”.

How bizarre and fantastical this may have sounded a decade ago; is it something that politicians and global leadership could be engaging behind closed doors?

Is it just too outside the realm of contemporary reality to contemplate that many world leaders are secretly paedophiles or cannibals and that we are being ruled by a criminal class of true evil on a scale never before seen?

Or will we out of a sense of self-comfort, relegate that to fictional horror movies and the darker recesses of a Stephen King novel? I presume the latter.

The files show that supremacist beliefs, racism, corruption and extreme misogyny are part of the culture that enabled the trafficking and dehumanisation of women and girls. They further illustrate the demeaning way the elitists view the rest of the world, with discussions about population control and “mass executions of the elderly” occurring alongside conversations with influential figures about “raping underaged girls”.

Has the time not arrived now for a global overhaul by humanity of this truly sick ruling class?
