The eThekwini Municipality urges soccer enthusiasts to secure their tickets for Bafana Bafana's international friendly against Panama on Friday, March 27, at 7pm which has garnered a wave of enthusiastic comments on social media. However, a unique challenge awaits loyal South African soccer supporters: where will their loyalties lie?

Just a short distance away, the Hollywoodbets Sharks will take on Cardiff Rugby at the Hollywoodbets Kingspark, simultaneously drawing attention from the city’s sports fans.

It's a classic battle for attendance in a city that lives and breathes sport.

"Get your ticket, bring your flag, and be part of the electric atmosphere. Don’t miss this thrilling encounter!" the city posted regarding the soccer match on Facebook.

With tickets priced at R80, the municipality considers this an affordable treat for soccer lovers, encouraging the community to rally together under the bright stadium lights.

The call sparked a slew of comments from local fans

One passionate fan, Thokøzaññí Thwala Mnyamande, wrote: "I will be there even if I don't have a ticket," demonstrating an unwavering devotion to the national team.

In response, the municipality cheekily asked, "How you gonna enter?" highlighting the playful banter that characterises the connection between supporters and local authorities.

Comments reflecting diverse sentiments have emerged.

While Andile Atm Mbesa expressed disappointment, suggesting that entry should have been free, Fez Sithole praised the pricing, stating, "Very affordable thanks to eThekwini municipality... Will be there!"

This exchange among fans showcases the passion for the sport, as they gear up to support their heroes on the field.

One follower, Nathi Maphumulo, mentioned: Next door will be Sharks same day same time.

So where will you be on March 27?
