The finale of the 2026 Absa Cape Epic, a physically gruelling and mentally demanding mountain bike stage race, was held on Sunday, ending at the Stellenbosch University grounds in the Western Cape. Over eight stages, participants faced roughly 692 kilometres of rugged trails, climbing around 15,900 metres through iconic stages around Montagu and Greyton, before finishing in Stellenbosch.
