The starting lineup of Mamelodi Sundowns has been confirmed for their game against Borussia Dortmund in the Club World Cup at the TQL Stadium on Saturday.

Kick-off is at 6pm.

Sundowns are coming off a win in their first match of the tournament against Ulsan Hyundai earlier the week, but will now face the German giants.

Meanwhile, Dortmund come into the game off a draw with Fluminense.

Mamelodi Sundowns Aim To Carry On Strong Start to Club World cup

Having last been in action over three weeks ago, Mamelodi Sundowns could have been forgiven for making a slow start to the Club World Cup, but instead it was the perfect start to their campaign at Inter&Co Stadium in Orlando, Florida, on Tuesday.

The match actually took place in the early hours of Wednesday morning SA time, after a delayed start to the clash due to thunderstorms.

Sundowns emerged 1-0 winners courtesy of a 36th-minute goal from Iqraam Rayners.

Sundowns’ previous match was the CAF Champions League final second leg on June 1 against Pyramids, as the Egyptians lifted the trophy. Sundowns coach Miguel Cardoso was a relieved man after the final whistle.

“It’s not easy to achieve victories. It was a long way until this moment. I think today we released a lot of energy, in the right way, before, during and after [the game],” said Cardoso.

Mamelodi Sundowns Starting XI: Ronwen Williams, Grant Kekana, Rushwin Cupido, Khuliso Mudau, Divine Lunga, Teboho Mokoena, Lucas Ribeiro, Marcelo Allende, Ashley Matthews, Themba Zwane, Iqraam Rayners.

Replacements: Denis Onyango, Thapelo Khoza, Mosa Lebusa, Aubrey Modiba, Ethan Adams, Bathusi Aubaas, Neo Maema, Langelihle Letlhaku, Sphelele Mkhulise, Thapelo Morena, Siyanda Mdunyelwa, Mothobi Mvala, Lebo Mothiba, Peter Shalulile.
