Kaizer Chiefs legend Reneilwe Letsholonyane has backed new Orlando Pirates signing Kamogelo Sebelebele to provide a vital role at the Buccaneers.

The 22-year-old has been seen as a good replacement for Mohau Nkota, who has switched to the Saudi Pro League side Al-Ettifaq.

The right winger made a name for himself with TS Galaxy before appearing on Pirates’ radar.

The 43-year-old Letsholonyane was speaking on Omniaudioafrica. When the subject of Sebelebele came up.

Kamogelo Sebelebele: A Valuable Addition to Orlando Pirates

“I was fortunate enough to have worked with Kamogelo (Sebelebele) at Chan and at the COSAFACup.

“He’s a good player with the right attitude. I’m not surprised that he has signed with Orlando Pirates, I’m not surprised.

“He deserves that, again he addsvalue to the team, he gives you the option as a striker if you are a coach that says I want to play with a false striker, Kamogelo gives you that.

“And Kamogelo gives you the right attitude that he wants to win every game that he plays. Tired or not tired, he’ll die on the field up until the last whistle. So, that is one good positive signing for Orlando Pirates.

“And I’m happy for Kamogelo, he deserves this move to be honest.”
