Johannesburg - After a rocky road of losing assets and having fans and celebrity friends reach out to him, Goodwill Malinga, known as Dr Malinga, reveals he had just settled what was due to Sars.
“Just paid 100k to SARS. Thank you so much fam. Thanks, Bye,” shared Dr Malinga.
Dr Malinga visited the popular Podcast and Chill with MacG and shed tears while explaining the repossession and auctioning off of his belongings.
On the podcast, he revealed that he had no issue when popular gossip blogger Musa Khawula broke the news on the internet because he thought he could pay what was due to SARS momentarily.
This episode commanded everyone’s attention online with many people showing care and support, and as a result fans and popular artists such as Makhadzi publicly reached out to Dr Malinga.
“I would like Dr Malinga to come to perform at my one-woman show. I sent a DM for sure he did not see it. I really want to support him from the bottom of my heart. Anyone with management contact me please DM me,” wrote Makhadzi
“I finally reached Dr Malinga. I promise to not exploit him but share the little I have with him. God must bless and protect us. Artists have been going through a lot during Covid 19. We all suffered.”
Innocent Masuku also reached out to give words of encouragement to the talent.
“Dr Malinga my big brother. I know the pain you are going through. I know the pain of losing and starting over. Please be strong. Everything will pass.”
Masuku has also come out and spoken out about his life’s ups and downs. He shared about overcoming drugs and starting on a clean slate.
“I am grateful that God gave me a second chance and I am still alive. What I would like is to reconnect with people that I have worked with before. I need opportunities,” shared Masuku.
