During her time in Zanzibar, Koetle indulged in relaxation by the pool and even had the unique opportunity to swim with turtles, making the most of this idyllic destination.
Known for its pristine white-sand beaches and clear turquoise waters, Zanzibar is a bucket-list location for many Mzansi A-listers seeking adventure and tranquillity.
In addition to her holiday highlights, Koetle recently celebrated her daughter’s 9th birthday, sharing heartfelt sentiments on Instagram.
“Nine years of knowing the most amazing little human 💕. Becoming your mum has been the greatest gift of my life. You’ve changed me, taught me, and shown me love in its purest form. Each step with you has also been a lesson about myself, and for that, I thank God every day.
"Happy 9th birthday to my best friend, my sunshine, my unconditional love. I’m so blessed to call you my daughter,” she expressed.
Recently, Koetle opened up about her divorce from businessman Nelson Nyokong in a candid interview on the Engineer Your Life podcast.
The 36-year-old star shared her journey through living with the pain of divorce and healing.
Describing her divorce as “painful” but not scandalous, Koetle stated, “It did not work out,” emphasising that there were no horror stories behind the split.
She maintained that her marriage story remains sacred, preferring to share it only alongside her ex-husband, out of respect for both parties.
The couple’s separation quietly began in 2019 and was publicly confirmed in February 2023.
Together, they built a life that included their daughter Nema, born in 2016.
“I have learned to find the light again, deal with the pain, and detach from the idea that nothing is truly mine," she said.
She also acknowledged the challenges of co-parenting, stating, “Some days it gets really hard… but I realise that Nema keeps me going.”
