Durban – The eThekwini Metro is offering whale-watching at Wilson Wharf through Isle of Capri Cruises.

That was according to a brief statement on eThekwini Metro’s Facebook page.

The statement said that part of the experience includes a display by the whales called breaching. This is when a whale propels its body out of the water and upon its re-entry, creates an impressive splash.

It said to experience this and more on a whale-watching tour, call Amanda Janse van Rensburg on 031 305 3099 or 082 851 4787 or email: [email protected]. You can also WhatsApp 061 435 8202.

“Whale watching is a seasonal experience from the beginning of May to the end of November.

“A two-hour whale-watching experience, which normally costs R1 150 per person is now R650,” the municipality said.
