Durban - A suspect has been arrested for a farm attack and house robbery in Camperdown, between Durban and Pietermaritzburg.

Magma Security and Investigations said Camperdown detectives were also part of the operation.

The company said it had received information regarding suspects who were involved in a farm attack and robbery that occurred on April 1 on a small holding in the Ingomankulu area.

“This information was followed up on Thursday and Magma investigators, together with Camperdown detectives, set up an operation where one suspect was arrested. Items stolen in the robbery were recovered. One suspect is still outstanding,” Magma Security and Investigations said.

The company added that investigations were ongoing.

Police spokesperson Lieutenant-Colonel Nqobile Gwala said a case of house robbery was being investigated by Camperdown SAPS.

“It is alleged on April 1, at 2.45pm, two men armed with knives entered the house at Ingomankulu in Camperdown. At knife point, the suspects took a cellphone and cash before fleeing,” Gwala said.
