R&B star Keyshia Cole has announced the rescheduled dates for her highly anticipated “Keyshia Cole: Live in South Africa”.
The live concert, which was set to take place on January 24 in Pretoria, followed by January 25 and 26 in Johannesburg and Cape Town, respectively, was cancelled due to Cole’s home being ravaged by the fierce wildfires that swept through parts of Los Angeles.
The Grammy-nominated singer has announced that, despite her hardships, she will make her way to South Africa to perform for her fans in April.
The wind-whipped blaze continues to cause extensive damage across the region, forcing tens of thousands of residents to flee or be prepared to leave their homes at a moment's notice.
Cole will now be performing at the Big Top Arena, Carnival City, on April 26, SunBet Sun Arena, Pretoria, on April 27 and the Grand Arena GrandWest, Cape Town, on April 28.
Expressing her heartfelt gratitude to her devoted fans, Cole reflected on the recent turmoil, sharing: “The wildfires in LA devastated not only my home but also my spirit for a moment.
“ I needed time to heal, rebuild and be fully present to give my fans in South Africa the show they deserve. Your love and support have been a light through a dark time, and I can’t wait to see you all.”
Fans who purchased tickets for the original dates can rest assured that their tickets will be honoured at the rescheduled shows.
For those unable to attend the new dates, options for refunds are also available.
According to a statement, Cole’s tour will be a celebration of resilience, love, and connection.
