Known for her genuine personality and captivating presence, Liyema Pantsi quickly became a fan favourite, so much so, that they’ve coughed up good money to help her on her journey.
Pantsi’s presence inspired the beginning of a strong fan base and this generous gesture shows the deep connection and admiration that viewers have for her outside the show.
Pantsi’s journey on Big Brother was marked by some challenges and triumphs, but she continued to consistently showcase her strength and positivity.
Her ability to remain true to herself, even in the midst of chaos, as well as the pressure that came with being part of the show resonated with many, inspiring a loyal fan base.
Months after exiting the Big Brother house with R250,000, Pantsi's fans rallied together to donate an additional R300,000 via a GoFundMe account.
This initiative was organised by a fan account on X, formerly known as Twitter. The fan account, among many, has been rallying support since the beginning of her journey on the show.
The donation not only celebrates her achievements since being on the show, but also shows the strong bond she shares with the audience who grew to be her long-term supporters.
In addition to this, the Lillies, as she calls her fans, also created a separate GoFundMe campaign to support the promotion of her music, raising an impressive R20,000.
Pantsi took to her social media to express her gratitude. “Thank you so much LLF and everyone that made it possible, I’m lost for words and will be back to thank everyone properly,’’ she said.
She was also showered with a long list of luxurious gifts that include a fully furnished two bedroom apartment and some professional studio recording equipment.
