Prince Harry has reportedly met with Prince Charles, Prince William, and Duchess Catherine for “clear-the-air talks”.

The 36-year-old royal is believed to have met with his father, his brother, and his sister-in-law to begin mending the rumoured rift between them which surfaced after he and his wife Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, gave their tell-all interview to Oprah Winfrey last month.

Harry is thought to have hosted his family members at his former home in Frogmore Cottage – where he lived with Meghan until they moved to California last year – after he temporarily returned to the UK last week ahead of Prince Philip’s funeral on Saturday.

A source told The Sun newspaper: “Harry obviously felt outnumbered as there are three of them and only one of him so wanted it to be on his home turf.

“There is no way this is the end of the crisis in their relationships but it’s a good gesture and a nice way to take the first step towards healing.

“William, Kate and Charles all left after about two hours, which was long enough for the process of getting father and brothers talking again to start.”

During his interview with Oprah, Harry claimed his father had stopped returning his calls after he expressed a wish to step down as a senior royal.

Harry said he felt “let down” by the Prince of Wales, because he expected his father to understand his desire to protect Meghan from public scrutiny because Charles’ late ex-wife Princess Diana went through “something similar”.

He said: “There’s a lot to work through there. I feel really let down because he’s been through something similar, he knows what pain feels like, and Archie is his grandson. But at the same time, of course I will always love him. But there’s a lot of hurt that’s happened, and I will continue to make it one of my priorities to try and heal that relationship. But they only know what they know, and I’ve tried to educate them through the process that I’ve been educated.”

He also refused to comment on rumours of a rift between himself and his older brother William, but said they were on “different paths”.

Harry added: “As I’ve said before, I love William to bits. He’s my brother and we’ve been through hell together and we have a shared experience, but we’re on different paths.”
