 Be versatile:

If your apartment has only one bedroom, a smaller than normal lounge space, and you’re contemplating which sofa to purchase – opt for a sleeper couch. Sleeper sofas are trendy and chic and come in handy when your friends decide on a last minute, unplanned sleepover.

Be classy:

There’s no need to compromise on style if your new space is tiny. In fact, there’s so much you can do to make it a small space wonder – throw in a rug or two, and maybe even a floor lamp, accompanied by a beautiful piece of wall art, each tailored to your individual taste and your space will be home in no time.

There’s nothing worse than feeling trapped in your own lounge. Always remember, you need enough space between your furniture and the walls to move around freely, so shift the sofa a few inches from the wall, or opt for one with slim arms, and one which is elevated on legs and you’ll be surprised at the illusion of space.

Cluttering

Less is more in a small space. Get rid of those unwanted items taking up too much space and keep the décor simple and stylish. Focus on finding a few pristine pieces like textured vases and glass accessories to add a touch of flair to the area.
