This 1991-model Porsche 911 has been meticulously restored by California customiser Singer Vehicle Design - but, true to form, they couldn't leave well enough alone.
The original 3.6-litre flat-six of this Type 964 (to give it its official factory designation) has been hogged out to 3.8 litres and tweaked, using mostly Cosworth parts, to deliver 261kW, a 74kW improvement on stock.
Then the shell was 'optimised' with uprated running gear and carbon-fibre outer panels to reduce kerb weight by 226kW.
The result is a classic air-cooled 911 that goes like a GT3 - but don't take our word for it, go along the ride as petrolhead Jay Leno takes it out for a blast.
