Kia has revealed the facelifted version of its K3 sedan, which is the South Korean market version of the car we know as the Cerato.
Expect the upgraded hatchback and two-door Koup models to follow hot on the sedan’s heels.
As it goes with these midlife nip and tuck procedures, most of the changes take place at the front end, where the C-segment sedan gains new headlights sporting a more rectangular and swept-back shape and a more muscular looking grille.

The front and rear bumpers have also been redesigned and the taillights, while retaining the same basic shape, have a new inner design.
Global models, which go by the names of Cerato and Forte, are almost certain to inherit the same design enhancements and while the technical details are not known at this stage, expect the engines from the current line-up to carry over - those being 95kW 1.6 and 118kW 2-litre normally aspirated motors in South Africa's case.
