Only days after the world debut of the new five-door Kia Cee'd hatch and station wagon at the Geneva motor show, this sketch has been 'leaked' on to the internet via the semi-official blog Kia-World.
The blog says it's an official rendering of the three-door hatchback Pro-Cee'd version, scheduled to launch either at the Paris motor show in October or at the 2013 Geneva salon; we're going to reserve judgement until Kia's PR mavens put their official stamp of approval on it.
LOOKS LIKE THE REAL THING
Nevertheless, it looks like the real thing, very much what we would expect from the sportier Pro-Cee'd version.
Kia has said it will carry over the same two petrol and two diesel engines from the five-door, as well as unchanged interior trim but - and here's the kicker - there's a rumour buzzing around the cybergarage that there may an additional flagship model blessed with the 1.6-litre turbopetrol engine from the Vesoster Turbo.
If it's true, VW (among others) will be looking apprehensively over their corporate shoulders, this time next year.
