Nissan was out to Sway the attention of show-goers with this sporty hatch concept.
The Sway Concept, says Nissan, shows how the Japanese brand’s latest design ideas would be applied to a compact hatchback. In plain English that means that there are probably more than a few hints of the next-generation Micra in this concept car.
Nissan would almost certainly utilise the Clio's platform for its next B-segment contender and coupled with a more striking design, Nissan could have a serious Polo/Fiesta rival on its hands.
Designed specifically to appeal to European tastes, Nissan describes its latest concept as "emotional, edgy and exciting."
Inside the cabin, Nissan has applied design techniques that you'd usually expect to find in industrial architecture to create a sense of "simplicity and strength."
All that's left for you to do, Nissan, is ensure that enough of this car's spirit gets infused into your next showroom-bound hatch. According to reports abroad, the new Micra is due around the middle of 2016.
