Seoul, South Korea - Kia is getting ready to pull the covers off its all-new Sorento next month and as a taste tester, the Korean carmaker has released a set of official sketches showing the design direction that its new mid-sized SUV will take.
Providing it remains true enough to the sketches, the new model should boast a more athletic and elegant design as part of Kia's constant quest to move up the desirability ladder.
The new model is also reportedly larger in dimension to offer a bit more stretching space for all seven occupants.
As yet there's no word on powertrain options, but it is likely to retain the current model's 147kW 2.2-litre turbodiesel, or perhaps a mildly revised version of it, and offer a choice of front-wheel drive and permanent all-wheel drive transmissions.
