The new-generation Suzuki Swift, which was launched in November 2024, is now available with three two-tone paint options.
This option applies Black Pearl paint to the Swift’s roof and side mirrors, resulting in an entirely black upper half, as the pillars are already blacked out on standard models..
The black paint option can be combined with one of three of the existing paint options: Sizzling Red Pearl, Luster Blue Pearl and Arctic White Pearl.
The two-tone package is available on all three trim grades, adding R4,500 to the cost of the vehicle. That means a GL with the paint option will cost R224,400, while a GL+ will set you back R244,400 in manual guise and R264,400 as an auto. The GLX equivalents will cost R269,400 and R289,400 respectively.
“A large part of the fourth-generation Swift’s appeal is down to its exterior design language,” said Brendon Carpenter, Brand Marketing Manager of Suzuki Auto South Africa.
“These new dual-tone paint options – available on GL, GL+ and GLX model grades – massage a little more flair and exclusively into the mix and will attract the attention of customers seeking to stand out from the crowd.”
The new Suzuki Swift has proven immensely popular in its first few months of sale, and reached an all-time record of 2,628 units in January (check all the top sellers here), albeit largely thanks to strong sales to the rental industry, which accounted for 1,219 sales.
As a reminder, the Swift is powered by a brand new 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine, which produces 60kW and 112Nm. Said to be 11% more efficient than the previous four-cylinder motor, it is paired with either a five-speed manual or CVT gearbox.
