The Blitzboks have claimed third place at the Hong Kong Sevens after beating New Zealand 29-7 in the Bronze medal final.
After losing 26-24 to Fiji in the semi-final earlier on Sunday, the young Blitzboks' Stedman Gans scored a double to give the South Africans a 12-0 lead after five minutes.
Captain Dewald Human added another unconverted try to stretch their lead to 17-0, but New Zealand responded on the stroke of half time through James Ng Shiu to take the half time score to 17-7.

Zain Davids scored the first try of the second half to take the Blitzboks' score to 22-7, and Muller du Plessis added another converted try to make it a commanding 29-7 lead and, ultimately, victory.
