Sydney – World Rugby has announced the pools for the fifth round of the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series in Las Vegas in March with the Blitzboks drawn in Pool A with Wales, France and Canada.
The draw for the next stop on the series was made at the end of the Sydney Sevens, which was won by South Africa.
Beaten finalists in Sydney, England, top Pool B with USA, Samoa and as yet un-named invitational side.
New Zealand, Argentina, Russia and Kenya will battle in out in Pool C and Australia meet Fiji, Japan and Scotland in Pool D from 3-5 March at the Sam Boyd Stadium in Nevada.
The women's pools were also announced on Sunday, after Canada claimed the second round of the World Rugby on Saturday in Sydney.
They have been drawn in Pool A with France, Russia and the invitational side, which will be the winners from the South American Sevens later this month. Host side USA top Pool B in Las Vegas after an impressive run in Sydney.
They'll face an improving Fijiana side as well as Ireland and Spain. New Zealand meet rivals Australia, England and Brazil in a tough Pool C at the Sam Boyd Stadium.
The schedule for the third round of the World Rugby Women's Sevens Series will be announced in due course.
