The loss saw Chiefs remain in fifth place in the log table with 21 points from 15 matches, while Pirates' victory saw them move to 30 points from 12 matches, keeping them in the race for Betway Premiership glory.
Following the loss on Saturday assistant coach Youssef took to Instagram and apologised to the club's supporters, adding that he was proud of the player's effort.
"Sorry to our fans this loss hurts but we'll keep fighting. Proud of our players who never gave up, we may have fallen today (Saturday) but the mission is not over.
"The best is yet to com ! Thank you for your support," Youssef said.
Meanwhile, head coach Nasreddine Nabi thanked the club's fans for their unwavering support and insisted that the team was on the right path despite the loss..
